levihanji:

Headcanon: The reason why Hanji can interpret Levi’s horribly garbled metaphors is because Levi sometimes gets really philosophical. When he is in the mood, he starts to talk about their situation within the walls and as soldiers and everything that’s going on. But he is pretty bad with words and expressing himself and it usually involves copious amounts of vine. Hanji finds this highly amusing and could spend hours with him, interpreting what he was trying to say. They’ve gotten pretty good over the years.

Can I just point out how hard Hanji is crushing on Levi right here. She’s like I love you and your clean freak self.

And can I just point out how much he’s crushing on her HERE? Yeah you may not see an expression but look at dem fingers in her hair! I think either she never washes it and he loves her enough not to care in the moment or she finally washed it today and so he’s like yup gotta take advantage of that right now.

People criticizing TFIOS because Gus sounds pretentious???

that was the point???

like literally at his fake funeral his best friend talks about how fucking pretentious he is and how annoying it was???

It was one of his character flaws? He was deliberately written that way?

You’re not being clever or critical by pointing it out, you are literally stating a fact about the novel that the author deliberately wrote

I’m really pissed by this. I do agree that people are often over diagnosed and over medicated (especially with kids), but you can’t compare daydreaming to ADHD or hormones to BPD and being a loner is absolutely not the same thing as being depressed. Those things are nothing alike, mental illness is incredibly serious and is often life threatening to the person. Instead of downplaying mental illness creating shame around needing medication to help you live your life we should be trying to make these things more available to people who need them. If someone had a broken leg you wouldn’t tell them it’s just a sore muscle and that they just need to stretch it, stop thinking about it, and move on with their life. So why are we doing this to people with mental illness? It’s not just something you can put to the back of your mind and continue to live your life normally and function like someone without mental illness. End mental illness stigma.
